In an effort to prove competence and capabilities to understand and work within the CFPB’s rule, the American Land Title Association (ALTA) developed a seven-pillar system, better known as Best Practices. Compliance with Best Practices proves to you, the homebuyer, as well as the Lender that the title company is fully prepared for the changing processes. Best Practice certification also proves to the homebuyer that the title company is professional and diligent in fulfilling its duties as a settlement agent to close your transaction.
On July 8, 2015, Ironclad Title became the FIRST title company in the State of Louisiana to obtain Best Practice Compliance Certification by an independent third party.
