Ironclad Title is proud to announce Jared L. Watson, one of our partners, has been named to the Super Lawyers – Rising Starts List. Even more impressive is that Jared has been named to this list 4 years running.
The Rising Stars list is developed using the same patented multi phase selection process used for the Super Lawyers list except: To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less.
While up to 5 percent of the lawyers in a state are named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5 percent are named to Rising Stars.

As you are aware, the CFPB’s new mortgage rules are now officially in effect as of October 3rd, 2015. One very important part of the new rule is the protection of the consumer’s non-public personal information.
IRONCLAD TITLE was the first title company in the State of Louisiana to be come Best Practice Certified by an independent, third party auditor. We have spent the past couple of years training and implementing systems within our office to comply with the rule and, specifically, to comply with the privacy requirements.
One such system that we have implemented is IRONCLAD LIVE Many of you have used IRONCLAD LIVE over the past year to receive documents and file status updates. We have added a web order entry feature that will allow you to order title, submit requests for title, purchase agreements, and other documents securely, thereby ensuring that you are also in compliance with the rule.
The premise of the CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) is to protect the consumer. We intend to apply the privacy rules to all files received by our office whether they are a cash transaction or a financed transaction. Therefore, we ask that all title orders be delivered to us through a secured portal. If your company does not have such a system, we offer IRONCLAD LIVE as an option.
To order title using the web order entry feature, follow these simple steps:
Go to www.ironcladlive.com and log in. If you do not have a log in, please contact Monica Nicosia to ask for an invitation to IRONCLAD LIVE.
In the notes section, please put the name of your preferred closing agent – Jan, Monica, Beverly or Christy – so that the file can be directed accordingly.
When you’re done, click “Submit Order”. You will receive an email confirming your order was successfully sent.
Once our office opens the order, you will receive another email that your order has been accepted.
